What will happen at my first appointment?

Depending on your needs, we will recommend an appointment with the physiotherapist we think is best suited to working with you.

Your physiotherapist will ask you about your medical history and what you want to achieve. They will complete an assessment of your flexibility, strength and balance and teach you some of the key elements of pilates practice like alignment and breathing.

We aim to get you moving as quickly as possible and any exercises you are taught will be provided with videos for home practice.

Is there anything I need to bring?

Please bring any scan results, reports or a list of medication with you to your first session. If you would like us to look at them beforehand, you can email them to us securely.

Bringing a smart phone can be helpful in case you want to video your physiotherapist teaching a specific movement.

What should I wear?

Anything you can move in comfortably. Most people wear jogging bottoms or leggings and a T-shirt. If you prefer not to be barefoot, then sports socks with grips on the sole are best.

Don’t live in Cambridge?

Private sessions by video are available, so you can still get expert Pilates instruction in the comfort of your home. We also have a range of instructional videos for beginners on our YouTube channel and we offer a free 7-day trial of our online Pilates classes.

How do the online Pilates classes work?

All our online classes are live sessions, so you can see other people join as you train with us. Don’t worry if you can’t attend a live class, after every session we send out a copy of the recording regardless of whether you attend or not. Many of our clients train with us this way.

Fancy an extra workout one week? That’s no problem, you’ll also have access to our on-demand library of recordings which can be accessed from a mobile device.

How do I book?
