Online and 1:1 Clinical and Physiotherapist-led Pilates in Cambridge
Our approach to teaching Pilates is different
We have a unique perspective on the way people move and a detailed knowledge of postural problems. We understand how bodies heal and we know how and when Pilates can be safely used to improve recovery.
We modify Pilates exercises to suit the individual’s level and needs, giving a personalised, clinical routine. Quite simply, our team teaches Pilates in a safe, effective way to help anyone and everyone improve their posture and flexibility, increase core stability and move comfortably with better control and balance.

Our reviews
I love these classes...
Pilatesfit are brilliant because of the physio expertise brought into every class. The new online classes are great; Rowan is not only a fantastic teacher but also a great communicator and it feels as though she’s at home with you. She gives options for the exercises so that the super-fit can progress fast and the less confident gain as much as possible. I love these classes – such an uplifting experience mentally as well as possible – and I can highly recommend.

I have never been so fit and supple...
I have never been so fit and supple – Rowan’s classes have been a lifeline – I ‘attend’ online twice a week, with recordings that I practise with on other days. Each session is complete in itself but there is such a variety of exercises – it is fantastic – amazing how the sessions have kept me motivated.

A highlight of my week...
Pilatesfit classes are brilliant and a highlight of my week!! Being physiotherapist taught makes a huge difference as all the movements are explained in such an informative way and I find knowing which muscles I should or should not be using very beneficial in helping to find correct positions. The booking process is flexible allowing you to book any level of class required and the video recording sent out after each class allows you to practice at your own leisure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Questions we are frequently asked...
Depending on your needs, we will recommend an appointment with the instructor we think is best suited to working with you.
Your instructor will ask you about your medical history and what you want to achieve. They will complete an assessment of your flexibility, strength and balance and teach you some of the key elements of pilates practice like alignment and breathing.
We aim to get you moving as quickly as possible and any exercises you are taught will be provided with videos for home practice.
Please bring any scan results, reports or a list of medications with you to your first session. If you would like us to look at them beforehand, you can email them to us securely.
Bringing a smartphone can be helpful in case you want to video your instructor teaching a specific movement.
Private sessions on Mat or Reformer are available in-person at the studio or by video in the comfort of your home. Please call us on 01223 914415 to make an appointment.
We offer a free 7-day trial of our online Pilates and we also have a range of instructional videos for beginners on our YouTube channel.
